The path in

  1. Step 1

    Get referred

The one thing we never skip. Someone already inside — family, a friend, a person you trust from your community — hands you a referral code. Codes are meant to be given, so if you don't have one, ask around. Everyone here was vouched for by someone; that's what keeps the advice worth trusting.

  2. Step 2

    Create your account

With your code, you open an account — an email and password, or Sign in with Apple or Google. Nothing is public yet; you're simply starting your application. You'll confirm you're 18 or older and read the short community guidelines before going on.

  3. Step 3

    Share one experience

Tell us about something real you've navigated — a business decision, a career turn, a health scare, a big move — and what you'd say to someone facing it now. Keep it specific; generous detail beats a tidy summary. If you're approved, this becomes your very first post, so you arrive already helping the next person. (Providers add their service details privately, in the same step.)

  4. Step 4

    A person reviews it

A real person reads every application — no filter, no algorithm deciding for us. Members and providers meet the same bar. Most reviews are quick; if something needs clarifying, we ask rather than turn you away. You'll hear back either way.

  5. Step 5

    Join the community

Once you're approved, your experience share goes live and the whole well opens. Ask your own questions, answer others', and find the providers your community already trusts. Welcome in — salaam.

Once you're in

What a normal day looks like.

Ask

Post a problem

A guided composer helps you set the category and add context, so answers meet your actual situation. One quiet reminder sits above it: keep it constructive.

Answer

Hear from people who share your values

Threads stay public and searchable, so help given once keeps helping for years. Upvotes and the asker's Helpful mark are the whole scoreboard — no downvotes, ever.

Hire

Find vetted providers

Browse tradespeople, family doctors, lawyers, tutors and more — each vetted like any member. You'll often meet them first in the threads, answering questions in their field.

Privately

Keep it private when you need to

For what doesn't belong in a public thread, message one-to-one. You can block anyone, and report a conversation confidentially. The same rules apply everywhere.

The doors open by invitation.

Add your email and we'll reach out when your community's turn comes. Curious what we ask of one another once you're inside? Read the guidelines.
